With successful implementation of an economic development program, the County can look to incentivize the growth of small business, build a more dynamic workforce, and provide targeted assistance to those individuals facing the greatest barriers to economic success.

Los Angeles County’s Seven Targeted Industries

Economic development priorities are organized around several workforce development objectives. Among these are encouraging job training for industries that are the most competitive and will generate well-paying jobs to propel economic growth and wealth creation for all residents.
